In the early 1920's, a design team of local experts gathered to assemble a first class boardwalk hotel. For over seventy years, their product, the Flanders Hotel, remained a testament to the town's standards of hospitality and class. The hotel finally came under new management in 1996, and CZAR Engineering LLC led renovations on the landmark building. Guest rooms became updated suites and residences, and a luxury two-story penthouse addition was added over the oceanfront side of the building. In addition, CZAR Engineering LLC designed and monitored the restoration of the roofing and building facade to ensure the longevity of the historical site.
