The Pier Shops at Caesars in Atlantic City extends 900 feet over the Atlantic Ocean. In 2006, the longstanding Ocean One Mall pier was renovated into this lustrous four-story complex with over ninety upscale retail shops, eight restaurants, an exciting nightlife and a spectacular ocean view. The enclosed second-story skybridge runs over the Boardwalk and connects the complex with the neighboring Caesar's casino for easy access. CZAR Engineering LLC, working closely with the developer, general contractor and architect, provided the design for many of the Pier's distinctive elements, including a new Boardwalk, elaborate fountains, and sleek interior fit-outs. The design process also included extensive mechanical support and structural modifications to the original pier structure.
